Our second Spiderball was bigger and better than the first. Bassnectar spun an insatiable mix of twisted grinding bass and beats while El Circo delighted the masses with, well, El Circo! Jesse Sever laid out his break box in between sets from Laura of El Circo, An-ten-nae, dance from Fey Fusion and much more. With a sold out house the vibe was tight, the masses were throbbing on the floor with two chill rooms to retreat to if you needed a refreshment. JK Sound threw down with a 6 point surround system filling the room with pulsing bass. Beds lined the perimeter with all kinds of shenanigans going on there… This was easily the best Spiderball yet and truly San Francisco’s premier halloween party. The only thing more one could ask, is… What is happening next year? Well, we have locked two artists, more beds, projection art, JK will be back and the show will be as it was last year, bigger, better, and out of sight. Our friends at the Hookahdome know how to throw a party. The 3rd annual Soul Candy held this year at the Porn Palace was an amazing gathering to say the very least. Friends united under the familiar scene of the domes lush fabric to enjoy belly dancing, many musical performances, performance art, great company and of course, hookahs. The gorgeous Bliss and Serene of Fey Fusion were a definite highlight. The front room was a ceaseless barrage of breaks and beats driving all who grooved into a frenzy of seduction and dance furry. Playa Love was in the house and wants to thank the Hookahdome for such a wonderful evening for all. See you on the playa you sexy Hookahns!
